真正靈性成長的關鍵，我認為有一個很重要的觀點，就是承認生命中所有的事情都是由自己創造，聖哲曼在第四卷揚升大師的教導中提到，我們必須了解自由意志的運作，首先我們要先認可，大部分原生家庭是靈魂自己的選擇，唯有我們勇於承擔自己的選擇，我們才能夠謙卑的接受我們就是世界的造物主，因此，你生命中欠缺的事物，無法透過責怪他人來逃避這個事實，這是追求光明學子的基本認知。

It seems to Me that it would be well to have a clearer understanding of the activity of Free Will. Children as a rule choose their parents, those to whom they shall be born in this earthly Life. Those who are to do Special Work are sometimes assisted by the Great Ones in making their choice. No one can be blamed for conditions, except the individual himself. No child can blame the parent for anything. No individual can blame anyone but himself for what seems to be lacking in this matter.
在我看來，若能更清楚地理解自由意志的運作將會很有幫助。通常情況下，孩子們會選擇自己的父母，也就是他們今生將要降生的家庭。那些被賦予特殊使命的人，有時會得到大師們的協助來做出選擇。沒有人該為境遇負責，除了當事人自己。孩子不能為任何事情責怪父母。個人也無法為看似欠缺的事物責怪他人，只能怪罪自己。

因為宇宙當中的能量它是無所不在，生活中的混亂並不是缺乏能量，而是錯誤地使用造成不和諧的實相回到我們身上，如果你總是無法完成生活當中的事情，先了解引導能量，也就是神這股能量，是關鍵。

Energy is always present in great abundance; but if not rightly used, things cannot be accomplished. Any affliction within the individual is his or her own creation. This must be recognized by Students so there will be no drifting away from their own responsibility.
能量總是充沛地存在著；但若使用不當，任何事情都無法完成。個體內的任何苦難都是他或她自己的創造。學員們必須認清這點，才不會偏離自己應負的責任。

接下來我們進入本篇文章的重點，顯化。
我們總是透過外在的顯化，來驗證自己生命的進展，像是事業、名聲、財富等。
聖哲曼不斷強調，現代人過度追求外在顯化而非享受內在靜默的喜悅，一旦你開始向內追求一切，安靜的感受，真正的成長就會發生。

Every individual is a God in embryo and can call forth Limitless Power to use for his advancement at any and all times. The cause of one’s seeming slowness of advancement, many times, is because the Student or individual is consciously or unconsciously looking for the manifestation rather than the joy of entering into the Great Heart of God’s Great Silence. If once the Students truly understand this, it opens a new gateway to their growth and causes them to look entirely within themselves for everything. The inclination of the human or outer activity to continually be looking for something outside upon which to blame their own shortcomings, is the great stumbling block to the rapid progress of many.
每個人都是一顆神性的胚胎，隨時都能召喚無限力量來促進自身成長。許多時候，學員或個人進步看似緩慢的原因，在於他們有意或無意地追求外在顯化，而非享受進入神聖靜默核心的喜悅。一旦學員真正理解這點，便會開啟成長的新門戶，轉而向內在尋求一切。人類慣於向外尋找藉口來掩飾自身不足，這種外在活動傾向正是阻礙許多人快速進步的絆腳石。

那這生命的意義在於何者呢？
那就是透過自己的努力並運用覺知理解，再次活出每個當下的神性，再次回到源頭的完美，這就是每個人透過肉身不斷修煉所要到達的終點！
聖哲曼說在於我們（靈魂）經歷生命活動所有層面的經驗，去表達神性的豐盛與完美，在過程當中我們透過各個階段活動的覺知與理解，回歸神性自我。

The human Soul came directly from God. Therefore it could not have evolved out of the group soul of the animal. The human Soul must go back to God. Understanding the absolute certainty of the Law of Free Will, the “Law of the Expression of the Fullness of God,” it must go through every phase of experience, attaining again that Perfection through the conscious understanding of all phases of Life’s Activity.
人類靈魂直接源自神。因此它不可能從動物的群體靈魂演化而來。人類靈魂必須回歸神。理解了自由意志法則的絕對必然性——「神性豐盛表達之法則」——它必須歷經生命活動所有層面的經驗，透過對生命各階段活動的覺知理解，重新達至完美。

較低層次也就是我們現在還擁有原子結構的世界，存在著所謂二元對立的兩極性，於是當我們眼睛一睜開，我們的大腦，心智，情緒，身體等就開始要去征服所有的負面狀態，而且這是專屬於你自己的勝利旅程。

At the time Free Will was given to the Individualization—certainly not unknowingly of what would come—knowing there were two opposites throughout all lower manifestation, the Soul went forth to conquer all negative conditions and again return to that Perfect State, crowned with the Victory of Self-conscious Knowledge. This is why one cannot learn from another’s experience. Each must go through all experience and conquer himself or herself. That is the reason for the long process of re-embodiment, for the Soul has to have periods of rest from this intense activity.
當自由意志被賦予個體化時——當然並非對即將發生之事一無所知——靈魂知曉在所有較低層次的顯化中存在著兩個對立面，於是它出發去征服所有負面狀態，並再次回歸那完美之境，以自我覺知知識的勝利為冠冕。這就是為何人無法從他人的經驗中學習。每個人都必須經歷一切體驗並征服自己。這正是漫長轉世過程的原因所在，因為靈魂需要從這種激烈活動中獲得休息的時段。

This is why no Arisen Master ever has such a thing as a condemnatory thought—for They have gone through all experience in order to come to the Arisen State. This, however, does not mean in every detail. The power through Self-conscious Knowledge, gained through the Life of experience, gives one infinitely greater capacity, greater understanding, greater power than one who has never come into it at all. This is why one who has come down through the human experience and by self-effort has raised himself to become an Ascended Being, is Master over even the Angel Devas. There are some Angel Devas who have been through the human experience.
這就是為什麼沒有任何一位已覺醒大師會懷有譴責的念頭——因為他們已歷經所有體驗才達到覺醒狀態。然而這並非意味著每個細節都需經歷。透過生命體驗獲得的自我覺知力量，賦予一個人遠比從未經歷者更無限的能力、更深刻的理解與更強大的力量。正因如此，那些歷經人世體驗並透過自我努力提升至覺醒境界的存在，其境界甚至超越天使提婆。有些天使提婆也曾經歷過人類體驗。
